The museum has a permanent exhibition that reflects the creative path of two brothers – poets Eugenijus and Leonardas Matuzevičiai.
Two poets lived in the house built in Krinčin by pharmacist Viliaus Matuzevičius in 1928-1929. Poet Eugenijus Matuzevičius, who set up a creative residence under the tower of the house, rested and wrote there from 1987 to 1994. Here he also wrote his last two books of poetry, “Jau sparno nemenumes” and “Sugrįžimų tyla”. After the poet’s death (in 1994), the homestead was declared a memorial, and the branch of Pasvalys Regional Museum operates there ever since.
In the garden of the museum, a traditional poetry festival – Krinčino Verdenės is held every year at the end of June. Writers of the district and neighboring districts of Northern Lithuania read their poetry.
